Hi everyone. I am Mitsa Lutfia, but please just call me Fifi. I am a housewife and a full-time mum to two very cheeky girls, both are still under 5. Being a mum to such young kiddos is very challenging. I was working as a Pharmacists until recently, but since the birth of my second child, I decided to take a break and spend more time with my girls.
I was an active volunteer with Connect Indonesia, The Charity, involved in researching and understanding about textiles from West Nusa Tenggara (Bali, Lombok & Sumbawa). We spent a week in Lombok in 2014 and a few days in Tenganan Bali, to understand how Lombok and Bali traditional textiles are produced and enjoyed every bit of our connections with the weavers there.
I feel extremely excited to have been given an opportunity by Wastra Indonesia to get involved in promoting and preserving our beautiful Textiles culture. I am sure this journey will be very exciting.
I hope to contribute to making this mission successful and that we can help keep our precious textiles stay glorious.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
