Description

Indonesian West Sumba traditional ceremonial textile in mamuli design. This ikat was handwoven using a back-strap loom and hand-dyed using natural dye indigo. This textile is thick and robust, great to use as upholstery fabric, as a throw blanket or as a wall hanging. It is also perfect for special craft projects such as cushion covers and elegant fashion accessories. This is a fairly long textile, it would look amazing to use as a table runner for a special party with long interconnected tables.

Please note that all our handwoven wall hangings and runners (table or bed runners) are hand-dyed and woven using a back-strap loom, and due to the nature of the production process, you may find minor imperfections and flaws in the weave. The minor flaws or imperfections contribute to making them truly unique and one-of-a-kind.
